Saudi Arabia and Pakistan endorsed deals and memoranda of agreement on Saturday to magnify respective cooperation in multiple fields.

The documents were signed while the visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan who came to Saudi Arabia on Friday evening on a 3-day official visit commanding a high-level commission.

Imran Khan was hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman other administrators at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. Both leaders contained a sequence of talks to intensify respective relations.

They also admitted two memorandums of understanding around opposing drug trafficking; as well as investment energy, transportation, infrastructure, water, and communications projects.

During his trip, Prime Minister Imran Khan who has visited 6 times, most recently in December 2019, will focus on enhancing ties with Riyadh and the requirements of the approximately 2.5 million Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia.

According to the SPA ‘Saudi Press Agency’, the Prime Minister Imran Khan and King Salman also “exchanged views and issues of concern to the two nations on the regional and international arenas, in a way that contributes to supporting and strengthening security and stability.”

Further SPA told, “Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the leadership role of King Salman in promoting Islamic unity, and “the positive role of the Kingdom in resolving the issues facing the Islamic nation and its endeavors for regional and international peace and security.”

It added that administrators from both lands signed two agreements addressing the execution of criminals, and crime.
