Pakistan has vigorously condemned the strike on innocent Palestinians at the Al Aqsa Mosque, where Israeli forces rushed and forcibly scattered worshippers apart in occupied East Jerusalem. In a report by Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri such crimes, especially during the holy period of Ramazan, are against all humanitarian models and human rights laws. He prayed for the rapid healing of the wounded.

The report stated, “Pakistan strongly condemns attacks on innocent worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli Occupation Forces. We pray for the rapid healing of injured, reiterate our constant support to the Palestinian cause & urge the int’l community to take immediate action to protect the Palestinian people.”

Israeli police fired rubber bullets and stun grenades towards Palestinians at Jerusalem’s Al Aqsa Mosque on Friday as weeks-long strains between Israel and the Palestinians over Jerusalem emphasized again. According to police, many wounded have been taken to the hospital.

UN: “We Call On Israel To Immediately Call Off All Forced Evictions”

The United Nations (UN) has proposed Israel to call off any forced evictions in Jerusalem, warning that its actions could inflate to “war crimes”.

UN rights office spokesman Rupert Colville said, “We call on Israel to immediately call off all forced evictions.”

Further, he added, “We wish to emphasize that East Jerusalem remains part of the occupied Palestinian territory, in which international humanitarian law applies.”

“The occupying power cannot seize private property in occupied territory,” he remarked, adding that transferring civilian populations into the occupied territory was illegal under international law and “may amount to war crimes.”
