Pakistan “Prime Minister Imran Khan” has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a 3-day official visit at the request of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
While the visit, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and members of the Federal Cabinet followed the Prime Minister.
Personal Assistant to Prime Minister Allama Tahir Ashrafi and Special Assistant for Political Affairs Dr Shahbaz Gill landed in Jeddah on Wednesday to arrange for the visit.
The states to be expressed during PM Imran Khan’s visit include Green Pakistan, Green Saudi Arabia, and Green Middle East, development of National Supreme Coordination Council, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Culture and Information.
Later meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Saudi rulers, Prime Minister Imran Khan will offer Umrah with first lady Bushra Bibi and pay homage to the Holy Prophet in Medina.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will also adhere the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen to address Islamophobia and other matters of the Islamic world.
Before the Prime Minister’s visit, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has also landed in Saudi Arabia. General Qamar Javed Bajwa attended on Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman on Friday.
According to the Saudi reports, the conference in Jeddah on Friday addressed mutual relations, especially issues of bilateral interest, including possibilities for participation and development in the military and defence sectors.
